Differently from most countries Brazil celebrates tomorrow (yep, June 12th) the Valentine’s Day. It is all because tomorrow is Saint Antony’s Day and people believes that his is the saint of marriage. It is funny and interesting how people here mixed the religious tradition (this St. Antony’s Day and June fest) with popular (or even pagan) believes.
So, as tomorrow is our Valentine’s Day, let’s be romantic!
HAD I the heavens’ embroidered cloths, Enwrought with golden and silver light, The blue and the dim and the dark cloths Of night and light and the half-light, I would spread the cloths under your feet: But I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet, Tread softly because you tread on my dreams
The clip is really 80s (which I love but I know they shomewhat look funny too). I’m a fan of David Coverdale and his voice is just perfect for some songs. This one is one of them.
“There were times I almost let you go When I thought I needed to break free, But you were there To whisper in my ear Why don’t you share your dreams with me.”
For those who haven’t find yours yet.. keep looking.
